Stray Rescue of St. Louis

We seek out and take in those who no other organization will help or would simply euthanize because they are too expensive to heal. We rescue the abandoned, beaten, bred, fought, injured, terrified, defeated and betrayed. The minute they enter our doors, we look in their eyes and promise them ALL the second chance they deserve for health, home, commitment and love, no matter the time or cost.

Ruff Start Rescue

Ruff Start Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit animal welfare and rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of at-risk animals. Focused primarily on domestic companion animals like dogs, cats, and critters, the rescue has saved over 15,300 animals since its founding in 2010, taking in an average of 275 animals per month. All animals in the rescue’s care are brought up to date on age-appropriate veterinary care and housed in volunteer foster homes throughout the state of Minnesota until adopted.

The rescue relies on public donations and operates primarily on a volunteer basis, with an extended network of over 800 volunteers, fosters, and staff members working to continue its mission of saving animals and educating the public about the importance of animal advocacy and care. Humane Society Of Central Texas

Serving Waco and the surrounding area since 1985, the mission of HSCTX is to build a community that promotes animal welfare through compassionate services to animals and people. We value equity and inclusion, mutual respect, service with compassion, and innovative and positive programs.

Since 2016, our shelter has achieved and maintained a No-Kill status, ensuring every animal is given the chance they deserve to leave the shelter alive, regardless of their breed, age, size, or history.

We strive to keep pets and families together, to connect shelter pets with loving homes, and to provide education and resources to our community to ensure that every pet in our community has the opportunity to live their best life.

We believe strongly that #EveryWacoAnimalDeservesAChance, and that every family who wants a pet should have a pet responsibly.

Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County

Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) is an open-admission, no-kill shelter dedicated to strengthening the relationship between animals and humans through adoptions and education – making a more compassionate community possible. From our main facility in Waukesha, WI to the new HAWS Schallock Center for Animals in Delafield, WI, HAWS offers everything from adoption to agility, spay-neuter to safe keep, recreation to respite. Our mission is to lead the community in animal welfare and assure sanctuary for animals in need. To that end, we envision a community where all animals are treated with compassion, dignity, and respect. Incorporated in 1965, HAWS has grown along with our community, evolving into a vibrant organization and a lively facility that is the #1 resource for pets and their people.

Center for Animal Rescue & Enrichment of St. Louis

Center for Animal Rescue and Enrichment of St. Louis, or CARE STL, is a nonprofit organization serving as the official NO-Kill animal shelter partner for the city of St. Louis Animal Care and Control. We work with a network of community partners, business sponsors, adopters, donors, and volunteers to advocate for animal welfare.

Austin Humane Society

Serving our community since 1952, the Austin Humane Society is the longest standing no-kill shelter in Austin. AHS transforms the lives of animals and the people who love them through life-saving programs that find animals homes, serve animals and people in times of crisis, prevent future homelessness through spay and neuter, and engage the community to be a part of the solution.

Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is the only shelter solely devoted to the lost and abandoned animals of Round Rock, Cedar Park, Hutto, Leander, and Williamson County. Our Mission is to provide a safe haven, with compassionate and humane treatment, for the lost and unwanted pets in our jurisdiction.

Dane County Humane Society

For 100 years, the Dane County Humane Society (DCHS) has provided services for our community, helping people help animals. Whether you are looking to bring a new pet into your family, searching for your lost pet, found a wild animal in need of assistance, have made the difficult decision to surrender your pet or are looking for educational opportunities, DCHS is here to help.

DCHS is a private, non-profit, community-supported organization and is not affiliated with any government agency or national animal welfare organization. We are an open admission shelter accepting all animals that need assistance regardless of age, health status or temperament. DCHS also has an adoption guarantee, meaning all healthy or treatable animals can stay at DCHS as long as it takes to find a loving home

Nevada Humane Society

Nevada Humane Society is a non-profit organization whose life-saving work is made possible through donations. In January 2007, NHS became a no-kill shelter and launched a bold effort to help Washoe County become a no-kill community. Working in partnership with Washoe County Regional Animal Services and a network of rescue organizations, Nevada Humane Society has put Washoe County and Carson City in the very top tier of nationwide communities for lifesaving homeless pets. NHS saves the lives of over 14,000 animals each year!
