Warranty & Returns


Product Warranty

All reconditioned Macs offered via are fully tested, 100% working and carry a 90-day* replacement hardware warranty. Some computers may carry a remaining limited Apple warranty or extended AppleCare warranty where Apple is the primary warranty provider. 

We offer one or two years extended warranties. The extended warranty can be purchased within the first 90 days of purchase.

Our warranty covers hardware only and does not include the loss of any data, loss of productivity or anticipated business. We do not cover any damage that may have occurred due to a liquid spill, accidental damage, installation of Malware or corrupting software, customer abuse and neglect, tampering with the serial number or the warranty seal(s) or from installation or servicing from any other entity than 

Keyboards, mice as well as chargers are shipped fully tested and working, but are not subject to the replacement warranty. Any accessories added free are not subject to replacement or repair.


Most homeowner or household insurance policies offer the option to add computers as a scheduled personal property (SPP). This provides great coverage (covering loss, damage or theft) for your computer for as little as $1 to $2 per $100 per year with no or low deductible! Check with your insurance agent for specifics.

Manufacturer's Warranty / Service and Support:

Returns outside the Seller's return policy must be handled directly with the manufacturer. Manufacturer's warranties vary on each product. Extended warranties may be available directly from select manufacturers. All requests for technical service and support should be made directly to the manufacturer in accordance with their terms and conditions.


Damaged goods, expired RMA numbers, no RMA numbers, and out of warranty returns, void all warranty/store credit and product will not be returned, replaced or refunded.  
Note that only items with unbroken warranty seals stickers are returnable. Prior to shipment we attach warranty seals within the inside compartment of each unit insuring that no tampering has taken place. 

RMA (Repair Merchandise Authorization)

Our reconditioned Macs warranty period begins from the date the order is delivered. In the rare event of a hardware problem during the first 90 days, please contact our Customer Care team via email ( or call us at 1-800-496-7920. Please be sure to have the machine with you when calling, as we will first run through a remote diagnostic session. Should we determine that the issue cannot be addressed remotely, we will provide you with an RMA number (Repair Merchandise Authorization) and a follow-up email that will provide details for the return.

A shipping label will be provided for US orders, excluding Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. We do not issue call tags for pick-ups. RMA numbers are valid for 10 business days only. is only liable for hardware problems. Software issues relating to OS upgrades, OS corruption, Software, Malware or File Vault are not covered under our hardware policy. Before a return of the unit, we recommend backing up of data and removing any confidential information, as we are only liable for hardware. The unit will need to be re-packaged properly to insure safe transport. We are not responsible for shipping damage while in transit back to us, unless the item was packaged with the original packaging (all padding materials properly in place) or Fedex approved shipping boxes. 

RMA returns have a high priority with our techs. If it is a simple issue, it is not unusual to have the machine serviced the same day. If it is more complex or extended tests need to be run, it will take longer. Our techs will be in touch to inform you of the repair status. Once the unit is repaired, another 30 day warranty will commence.

All returned merchandise goes through a rigorous testing cycle. If determined that product failure is due to improper use (including software and OS changes) or handling (shorting out due to electrical problems related to power source, liquid spills, drop etc) or inability to properly operate the merchandise, shipping fees incurred are due to client and voids warranty. 


To cancel a reconditioned Mac order please contact us by phone from Monday through Friday on the day of purchase, while the order is in the "Fulfillment status". Cancellation requests with resulting cancellation confirmation numbers can only be arranged during our regular business hours (excluding weekends and holidays). Cancellation attempts via chat, email or voice mail are unfortuantely not possible.

Return for credit

Used Product may be returned for refund back to original funding source minus a restocking fee (maximum of 15%) within 30 days after product shipped. This includes custom upgrade options. Products must be returned in original condition at buyers expense including packaging, documentation. Restocking fee includes original shipping, insurance, diagnostics and handling costs.

New Product may be returned for full refund less 15% restocking fee, original shipping, insurance and diagnostics and handling costs within 30 days after product shipped. Products must be returned in original condition at buyers expense including packaging, documentation.

Miscellaneous: shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control. These causes shall include, without limitation, acts of God, acts or omissions of Buyer or any third party, delays in transportation or inability to obtain necessary labor, materials or supplies.
